13 By Midnight “J”

13 By Midnight “J”

PUNK and NEW WAVE from the UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN 1976 – 1981

Ooops, 2nd try!!

I’m currently selling some of my Punk and New Wave singles on discogs (ID sonicsmith-d). Here you can listen to samples of what I will upload in the near future. If you are interested in obtaining one of the singles, give me notice (hjk@shakin-all-over.de).

As a way of parting with a good deal of my New Wave and Punk collection, it’s about time to take some kind of balance. What’s better than giving you examples of what determined my musical life – as opposed to Stadium Rock. It was the time we wore our hair short, dressed in black suits and generally drove everybody nuts.

At irregular intervals I’ll upload more Punk and New Wave music that’s been around my house and ears for 40+ years. All genuine homemade Rock ‘n’ Rawl, despite the New Wave drones. Independent labels was the word then. And only rarely you will find a song released on major labels here.

Stay tuned for more “13 By Midnight” comps.

PUNK and NEW WAVE from the UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN 1976 – 1981

As I’m parting with a good deal of my New Wave and Punk collection by selling it on discogs (ID sonicsmith-d), it’s about time to take some kind of balance. What’s better than giving you examples of what determined my musical life – as opposed to Stadium Rock. It was the time we wore our hair short, dressed in black suits and generally drove everybody nuts.

I’d like to share some sounds with you. At irregular intervals I’ll upload Punk and New Wave music that’s been around my house and ears for 40+ years. All genuine homemade Rock ‘n’ Rawl, despite the New Wave drones. Independent labels was the word then. And you hardly will find a song released on major labels here.

If you are interested in obtaining one of the records then go to my discogs sonicsmith-d site or write to me directly at hjk@shakin-all-over.de. Some of the records come with additional memorabilia like hypesheets, printed band bios, inserts, personal letters, even badges etc.

Stay tuned for more “13 By Midnight” comps.
