Ridin' In A Power Saddle
Red Swirls and Blue Poppies
My taste in music is eclectic. I enjoy listening to all kinds of music, apart from Heavy Metal and its various shapes and Techno. 70s Pub Rock, 80s New Wave, 90s Garage Rock, almost 50 years of Punk, Jazz, World Music, Rai, Folk Rock, 60s Beat, 50s Rock ‘n’ Roll… no limit! The MC5, Tamikrest, Scott Walker, Sons & Daughters, The Fugs, Bachir Attar, The Damned, Elliott Sharp, Rockpile, Eddie & The Hot Rods, Ron Kavana, Steve Earle – all of them are welcome to my ear any day. The Soft Boys! Great! The Dwight Twilley Band! Wonderful! You see where I’m leading you… apart from all the noise, I dig Power Pop too. Did it start with The Beatles’ “It Won’t Be Long”? When I fell for it? At least when The Easybeats threw “Friday On My Mind” at us, they won me over. Power Pop!
It has never been off my plate.

Works fine from my desk - both links!! Thanks for your nice words!!
Keep at it!
Thanks for this new compilation (and, by the way, I like many different kinds of music, too -- definitely including power pop). I actually saw 20/20 perform earlier this year, and they introduced "Back to California" as the title track of their new album. Around that time, there was also a joke going around (supposedly started by Mike Gallo, who isn't in the current line-up) that, because only half of the original members were still in the band, they should just call themselves "20."
Crab Devil! We are bloodbrothers! I bought 20/20s latest album, apart from two songs I found it rather uninspired. Still a great band, I cherish their 7"s!!
link worked fine when I typed it in instead of copy & paste. Not sure why but ignore the last message. Thanks for your help and all the shares. Best wishes
wkc! Sometimes it's all strange. Glad you found a way...
