Yeah, yeah, yeah again, here’s another batch of live recordings from a group that never turned professional yet delivered what was expected of a genuine Beat Band (as they were called in German), and THE GENTS hit the skins and guitar strings just as hard as the best of the German first division bands, actually harder than some. The Gents’ music is sheer Teenpunk, although the term was not common way back in 1964. Anyway, the Gents rock, they roll, and they throw so much energy around, it’s just infectious. In “older posts” you can listen to more music of the Gents, who were Sundolf Köhler, voc, lg, Rainer Lange, dr, Bahne Markowski, voc, rg, Manfred Markowski, voc, rg, Günther Schultz, voc, b, but also read about these recordings.
Gut gemacht.
The Triumph TR3 is Sundolf's. I wish I had had one.
